Mr Ralph Maganu

Mr. Ralph Maganu is the Director, Corporate Services of HRDC. He is a fellow member of Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA, UK) and a fellow member of the Botswana Institute Chartered Accountants (BICA). He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Botswana (1989) and ACCA from Botswana Accountancy College in 2000. He joined the Tertiary Education Council (T.E.C.) in September 2005 as Director Corporate Services until 1^st October 2015 when he was appointed to the Chief Operations Officer position on an acting basis.

Prior to coming to T.E.C. he worked at Botswana National Productivity Centre (BNPC) as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for three years before which he worked as Finance Officer, Senior Finance Officer and CFO Designate at the same organisation. Before joining BNPC he worked in several positions at Botswana Housing Corporation being, Assistant Accountant, Accountant and Senior Internal Auditor.

He has by virtue of his employment serviced and served in many Board Committees such as Procurement, Audit and Finance, Human Resources and others such as Corporate Performance Monitoring Committee, Change Management Committee, Strategy Review Committee, Professional Forums, Pension Fund Trustee etc. He has also served as a Board Secretary at BNPC and T.E.C.
