Mr Keefentse Gaebowe

Mr Keefentse Gaebowe is a Human Resource (HR) professional with 19 years’ experience in human resources gained from the Public, Mining and Health Sector as well as working within the parastatals. He has experience in organisational restructuring, performance, talent and strategy management. He facilitated the restructuring of organisations in both the public and the private sector. He also has experience and exposure in change management practices from different organisations he has worked for.

Mr Gaebowe possesses a Master’s in Public Administration (General) obtained from the University of Botswana (UB). He is also a Senior Management Development Programme (SMDP) fellow from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. He is a trained Balanced Scorecard professional. He has undergone training in various HR specialities, making him an all-rounder HR Professional. Mr Gaebowe has attended corporate governance training and has benefited from different practices and experiences in Botswana, Regionally (South Africa and Zambia) and internationally in Singapore.

Mr Gaebowe has over Eight (8) years Senior Management experience, having worked for Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board (BAMB) as Head, Human Resources and Strategy (which later transformed to Head, Human Resources) at Executive Management level. He also doubled as BAMB’s Board Secretary for five (5) years. Mr Gaebowe has also had a stint as BAMB Chief Executive Officer on an acting basis. Prior to working for BAMB, he worked for Diamond Trading Company Botswana (DTCB) for four (4) years, two (2) of which he was Human Resources Services Manager on an acting basis. He has also worked for Associated Fund Administrators Botswana (AFA Botswana) and Local Government (Councils) at different levels within the HR Field. Mr Gaebowe is an avid reader who believes in continuous self-development. His interest is in travelling to get exposure to different cultures, work ethics and business acumen.
